Rules
- The 5 best
results from the last 365 days are considered for the ranking.
- There are 3
classes of races:
- HIGH: Individual
Belgian Champs are the most important races. They give 2.5% more points
than MEDIUM races.
- MEDIUM: All
other national events, interland and regional events that are WRE.
- LOW: regional
events. They give 5% less points than MEDIUM races.
- To be
considered for the Belgian Ranking, a race must:
- Be
organized by ABSO-BVOS or one of its members.
- Have at
least 5 ranked runners completing the race (4 for the women class).
- Be marked
as BRE (Belgian Ranking Event)
- These
events will be marked as BRE :
- All
national events (MEDIUM class)
- All
individual national champs (HIGH class)
- 2 days
from the Belgian 3 days (MEDIUM class)
- All WOC-WC
selection races (MEDIUM class)
- Interland race (MEDIUM class)
- 9 regional events from VVO (with at least 2 sprints, 2 middles and 2 longs)
- 9 regional events from FRSO (with at least 2 sprints, 2 middles and 2 longs)
- These categories are considered :
- for National events, only the Elite classes are considered
- for VVO regional events, the A class for men and C class for women
- for FRSO regional events, the A class for men and B class for women
- for FRSO events, only the Elite classes are considered
- To be
considered for the Belgian Ranking, a runner must:
- Be a
member of a Belgian Club
- Have
completed at least one ranking race in the elite class when available or
in the H21-D21 class when not (for regional events only)
- Points are
computed according to IOF World Ranking
Rules with these deviations :
- If there
are less than 15 ranked runners finishing the race, IP is reduced by 0.005
(was 0.01) for each runner missing.
- For women
class, IP is increased by 0.05.
- To compute
the points of the first race, these points have been
used (points computed by applying the standard formula with MP=1000 and
SP=200).
